Directorate of Anti Corruption Branch (ACB), West Bengal, set up in the year 2012 under the administrative control of Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, Government of West Bengal, functions with an objective of preventing and detecting corruption in public administration.
This involves enquiry, investigation, monitoring and prosecuting complaints and allegations of corruption against the Public Servants under the control of Government of West Bengal.
Directorate of Anti Corruption Branch, West Bengal, upholding the Government policy of Zero Tolerance, is working tirelessly with spirit of transparency, accountability, in combating corruption in public life and also curbing economic offences through meticulous investigation and successful prosecution of the offenders.
The objective is not just to punish the guilty, but to develop an administrative culture free from corruption.
